It's a place that requires a constant choice. We can choose to cling to starring roles in the little-bitty stories of us, or we can exchange our fleeting moment in the spotlight for a supporting role in the eternally beautiful epic that is the Story of God.Think of it as trading up. Abandoning the former and embracing the latter will allow our little lives to be filled with the wonder of God as we live for His fame and the unending applause of His name. And joining our small stories to His will give us what we all want most in life anyway: the assurance that our brief moments on earth count for something in a story that never ends.

So this thing where we all pretend to keep our distance is usually a load of bull, so we pick and choose who we want to remain close to and once we've chosen those people, we tend to stay close by no matter how much we hurt them. I finally took the time to follow the link, and I'm so glad I did. I can't wait to share it with my mom and sis and aunts. The segment made a great impact on me.
Storytelling and capturing the moment is "where it's at" for impact. I heard my grandpa's voice through this kid's comments. I know these special kids exist and there ya have it, proof! Sortof. It's edited, but wonderful just the same. Even with the naysayers and finger-pointers who might say the sound clip is not valid or possibly edited, regardless, it is a piece of public art that shows us the truth through media and digital technology. I cried a bit. That's always a good sign of a stunning work of classical art.
Keep blogging. It's good stuff.
I totally understand your thoughts on trust and forgiveness. I am also inspired by your connectivity between science class and God. I have those moments so often. You inspire me to document more of these moments in my life.
